Luck of the Irish

Being an O'Brien, how can I not wear green and drink beer on this holiday? I'm impressed how many green shirts and shamrocks I saw today on St. John. St. John even had its annual St. Paddy's Day parade on Saturday. It's almost a bigger holiday than Easter, at that rate. St. Johnian's are funny about their holidays: sometimes ones you've never heard of close the banks and schools. Other times, like Easter, the holiday passes and you hardly notice. There's an "Irish" pub downtown called Quiet Mon which will probably be tight this evening. May the luck of the green wink at you this week.

Hey,

I was looking over old comments on my blog and saw yours again! Congrats to you on 8 Tuff Miles as well. First female from St. John?? That's amazing, way to go!

Looks like you have a cool blog - I'll have to check it out. I haven't had a chance to do a full update yet on our trip (and time is slipping away) but I did post photos and a few other things.

Hope things are going well down on the island! Thanks again for your kind words!

T.J.
