Virgin Gorda

One of the fascinating wonders of Nature, Virgin Gorda is a small island in the BVIs offering a rock-climbing experience like no other. According to Wikipedia, "An unusual geologic formation known as 'The Baths' located on the southern end of the island makes Virgin Gorda one of the BVI's major tourist destinations. At The Baths, the beach shows evidence of the island's volcanic origins, as huge granite boulders lie in piles on the beach, forming scenic grottoes that are open to the sea." Virgin Gorda is approx. 1 hr and 45 min from St. John by boat. If you're in the neighborhood it's definitely worth your time. I visited for the first time this past weekend. It was raining all day but the trip was still spectacular! Too special to not advertise it.
