Someone once told me something when I was about 9 years old, shaking hands during the greeting of our hometown church service. She was a missionary from Turkey, and had come to speak about her travels. When she shook my hand, she handed me a little slip of torn paper. She said that she'd watched me drawing in my sketchbook through the whole service (still do that to this day when I go home and go back to church with mom!). She said, "I feel a strong energy from you. You have a mission, a purpose: you're a light. Your are to be a light to others, to inspire them and share the light you feel." She then slipped me the paper and walked away. On it was a Bible verse that said, "Be the Light." (I'm afraid I can't remember the specifics of what verse it was--the thing that stuck was the message.) At 9 years old, that was pretty abstract...but somehow I knew I'd figure out what she meant one day.

I am learning. The thing that gives me the most energy--making me go without sleep, food or interruption--is when I'm inspired because I feel like I'm truly helping someone else feel good about themselves and realize THEY have their own power to do WHATEVER it is they dream of in life...they just need to go DO IT, TRY IT, LIVE IT. Whatever it may be--from traveling to another country, to learning how to be a web designer, to finding a perfect life partner, to generating millions...it comes from INSIDE. It's finding your own power and motivation to figure out how to create what it is you want for yourself.

My Life Question Right Now: What Can I Do To Inspire People In the Most Effective Way, so They Feel Enabled to GO, DO and LIVE the Life They Really Want?

I'm working on AskTechDiva.com right now to demonstrate how computers and gadgets can be fun and easy to learn to use. My goal with the site? To empower others with their stuff, so they aren't intimidated and feel "stupid with computers". Bah! Computers are only machines. They are very useful and very cool in so many ways...and learning how they work or how to fix them when they don't can be comforting.
